Serdar Omer, Turkish-American (Detroit, Michigan) b.1966. Serdar has been practicing in the architecture field for over 20 years, working mostly in New York City with renown architectural firms, establishing his own practice and collaborating with various ecological driven initiatives. His passion for design in the built environment is equal to his skill as an artist in both 2d and 3d compositions.
Serdar’s work fits squarely within the theme of stasisGallery which seeks to feature those in the creative field who have a multiple presence in different art forms. Eloquei is a series of two dimensional prints that explore the limits of digital layering and use of color. The subject matter incorporates drawing elements, geometric guides and photography while it pushing the levers of the software that accomplish a stark sense of control and transparency.
